Boarding

Have you ever had a vacation or business trip and not been able to take along your furry family member? When you and your pet could benefit from a safe, clean, comfortable boarding facility in the Mobile, Alabama area, let them stay with us at Bel Air Animal Hospital!

The boarding area at Bel Air in Mobile is state-of-the-art, and includes all of the amenities you would expect from an upscale pet lodging facility. Our living and sleeping areas are climate-controlled, meaning your pet will be kept cool during the summer, and cozy during the winter months. Our canine boarders are walked and cared for daily, while our feline friends are kept in a separate area, away from the stress they may experience due to barking dogs.

For the safety of your pet and others, all boarders at Bel Air must be current on all required vaccinations. Canine boarders are required to be vaccinated against rabies, canine distemper virus, adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza virus, canine parvovirus, leptospirosis, and bordetella (kennel cough). Our felines must be current on rabies, feline rhinotracheitis virus, calicivirus, and panleukopenia virus vaccinations. If your pet is due for their vaccinations, or if you are unsure of their vaccination status, please call in advance to have one of our doctors determine whether your pet must be vaccinated prior to their stay at Bel Air Animal Hospital.

Please remember to bring any medications or special diet foods your pet will require during their stay at Bel Air. Your pet’s medication and food will be administered as required by our professional staff. Any blankets or special toys are also welcome, as we want your pet to feel at home as much as possible at Bel Air Animal Hospital.

Thank you for your pet boarding interest at Bel Air Animal Hospital.
